Who are we?

Barneveldse Apotheken has a strong team of 40 people, comprising pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, support staff and delivery drivers. The team is large enough for staff to specialise in certain areas of the profession, yet small enough to feel like a real team.

We are part of the OCTA Pharmacy Group and have several (currently two) branches in Barneveld. You will work at both branches, and we also rotate our staff across the various pharmacies in Barneveld. This ensures plenty of variety and means you’ll never be left to cope on your own during holidays.


Your role

Working alongside the team and the pharmacists, you’ll ensure that the pharmacy’s work processes run smoothly, patients receive excellent service, we continue to operate in line with our quality standards, and staff feel valued and supported.

Your responsibilities will depend on your experience, but they will certainly include liaising with healthcare institutions, healthcare providers and suppliers. This also applies to managing staff, overseeing orders and providing information about medicines.


What do you bring to the role?

  • You work and think at higher national education (HBO) level, preferably having completed an HBO degree.
  • You have experience as a manager and of working in a pharmacy.
  • In addition, you are both business-minded and people-oriented, which means you are part of the team but can also step back when necessary.
  • Experience within the pharmacy sector and/or managing a small team is, of course, very welcome.
  • This also applies to an understanding of business operations, finance and patients.
  • Good communication, planning and organisational skills are highly valuable in this role.
