About Borrendamme Pharmacy & the OCTA Pharmacy Group

Borrendamme Pharmacy operates under the Service Apotheek service model and is part of the OCTA Pharmacy Group.

The OCTA Pharmacy Group is an innovative, nationwide pharmaceutical organisation with over 55 community pharmacies and more than 900 employees, who together serve around 1 million patients. OCTA comprises pharmaceutical wholesalers, institutional pharmacies, Central Filling Hubs and community pharmacies spread across the Netherlands.

Your role

You will be working as an (experienced) pharmacy assistant at Apotheek Borrendamme. This is a large, modern community pharmacy where personal attention is key. You will carry out the duties associated with the role of pharmacy assistant and actively contribute to safe and conscientious pharmaceutical care.

You are the face of the pharmacy and the first point of contact for our patients. With your expertise and friendly approach, you ensure that everyone feels welcome and well looked after.

The pharmacy is open Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:30, closing for lunch from 12:30 to 14:00. At weekends and on public holidays, we are open from 08:30 to 17:30.

What will you be doing?

As a pharmacy assistant at Apotheek Borrendamme
You’ll ensure that medication is dispensed safely and carefully.
You’ll provide information and advice on prescription and over-the-counter medicines.
You’ll process prescriptions efficiently and accurately.
You’ll contribute to the high quality of our pharmaceutical care.
You’ll work alongside colleagues and other healthcare professionals at the health centre.

What do you bring to the role?

An MBO qualification as a pharmacy assistant
You are meticulous, able to work independently and a good team player
A sense of humour and a friendly attitude!
You are available for at least 3 days a week
You have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written

Good to know: working only weekend shifts is not an option with us; we ask that you are also available for 1 to 2 days during the week.
